Job summary

Ericsson Inc. seeks a Data Center Services Technician to install, operate, and maintain data center infrastructure in New Albany, Ohio. You will perform rack-and-stack, cabling, equipment provisioning, testing, and documentation, while adhering to Ericsson and customer standards.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in data center operations, structured cabling, or IT infra support.
Working knowledge of data center hardware, racks, servers, networking gear, power systems, and cabling.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, installation docs, and MOPs.

Responsibilities

Install and deploy servers, network devices, storage, and related infrastructure per designs.
Route and terminate copper and fiber cabling with proper labeling and cable management.
Install PDUs, connect to power sources, verify power and management connectivity.
Provide equipment provisioning and perform FRU replacements following procedures.
Perform basic testing, fiber verification, and MACD activities per SOPs.
Maintain installation records, test results, and as-built docs.
Identify design concerns, safety risks, and escalate to senior staff.
