Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Data Center Services Technician in New Albany, Ohio to support installation, operation, and maintenance of data center infrastructure. The role involves rack-and-stack tasks, cabling, provisioning, testing, and operational support while adhering to Ericsson and customer standards.

Candidate should have 1+ year experience in data center operations, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Travel up to 50–100% is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in data center operations or IT infrastructure support.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and installation docs.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy servers, network devices, and storage per designs.
• Install and route copper and fiber cabling with proper labeling.
• Install PDUs and verify power connectivity.
• Provision equipment and perform OOB management connections.
• Perform basic testing and validation procedures.
• Execute MACDs and FRU replacements per SOPs.
• Maintain accurate installation records and reports.
• Identify design or safety issues and escalate to seniors.
