Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Technical Trainer for Data Centers to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for facility technicians and engineers working in data center environments.

You will create curricula covering critical systems including electrical, HVAC, UPS, controls, and safety, translating complex operations into effective learning experiences for mission-critical facility management. This role requires hands-on expertise and travel to multiple locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or related technical field.
• Minimum 7 years in data center or mission-critical facility operations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, HVAC, UPS, and BAS systems.
• Experience with training development, curriculum design, and adult learning.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills; able to explain complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver technical training programs for technicians and engineers.
• Create curricula, presentations, hands-on exercises, SOPs, and assessments.
• Conduct new-hire orientations and ongoing professional development.
• Design competency tracks for skill levels and specializations.
• Coordinate with equipment manufacturers for specialized training.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using assessments and metrics.
