Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to lead technology evaluations, design tailored solutions, and advocate for CoreSite’s offerings with customers. You’ll collaborate with Sales to ensure solutions meet requirements and drive deal success, with hybrid onsite presence and travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities include preparing proposals, conducting architecture walkthroughs, and maintaining deep knowledge of data centre infrastructure, networking, and interconnection services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related IT field.
• Data centre industry experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking technologies.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to align objectives and define technical requirements for tailored solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals and architectural design overviews for customers.
• Lead product discussions, clearly communicating features and benefits aligned with CoreSite services.
• Coordinate with Sales to define, position and design tailored technology solutions.
• Support RFP/RFI responses and proposal development.
