Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to lead technology evaluation and solution design during the sales process. You will serve as the primary technical advisor and partner with the Sales team to align CoreSite offerings with customer requirements, ensuring deal profitability and customer satisfaction.

Strong data center, power, and networking expertise is required. The role supports a hybrid work model with up to four days onsite and travel up to 25% as needed, and compensation includes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related IT field.
• Strong enterprise networking knowledge and experience with data center infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology evaluation and solution design during the sales process.
• Act as primary technical advisor and product advocate alongside the Sales team.
• Prepare technical proposals, architecture overviews, and tailored solutions for customers.
• Collaborate with CIM and external vendors to optimize space, power, and interconnection designs.
