Job summary

McKinstry in Spokane, WA is seeking a Senior Account Executive to manage complex sales projects, foster Client relationships, and secure larger contracts across our building solutions. You will coordinate with the Business Unit Manager to ensure successful execution and growth.

Required: a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management or equivalent; seven years with a mechanical or electrical contractor; five years leading sales; proficiency with Microsoft Office and

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts and estimates.
• Knowledge of building infrastructure mechanical and electrical systems.
• Seven years of experience with a mechanical or electrical construction contractor.
• Five years of experience leading and closing sales.
• Knowledge of conceptual estimating.

Responsibilities

• Business Development: manages a percentage of annual sales; produces accurate estimates and proposals; builds market strategies; coordinates with BU Manager.
• Team Management: assists with hiring, coaching and separations; supports AE development; provides performance feedback.
• Client Relations: builds relationships with industry leaders; supports customers on financial, contractual and technical issues; takes ownership of accounts.
