Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management or equivalent business experience.
• Seven years with a mechanical or electrical construction contractor.
• Five years leading and closing sales.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; SharePoint preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, proposals and estimates.
• Knowledge of building infrastructure mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manages a percentage of the annual sales based on department needs.
• Produces accurate estimates, assembles quality proposals and demonstrates good written communication.
• Builds and owns market strategies with SWOT analysis and competitive analyses.
• Coordinates with Business Unit Manager to ensure successful execution of projects.
• Assists with managerial functions including hiring, coaching and separations.
• Gives feedback and recommendations for performance evaluations.
• Builds and maintains relationships with industry leaders and organizations in regional or vertical markets.
• Takes ownership of accounts as assigned by Business Development Director.
