Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Project Manager for electrical utility construction projects in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will lead from proposal development through execution, ensuring proper scoping, technical soundness, and on-time, on-budget delivery.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external engineers, manage equipment sourcing, and support planning for mobilization and field work; review EPC proposals and coordinate with Operations, Estimating, and Risk teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field.
3+ years of experience in Project Management.
Experience from an electrical utility contractor.
Experience with substation or transmission.

Responsibilities

Manage projects from incoming proposal development through execution, ensuring proper scoping, technical soundness, and on-time delivery within schedule and budget.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external engineering partners, oversee equipment sourcing and procurement activities, and support construction planning for mobilization and field execution.
Review EPC proposals and perform project due diligence, partnering with Operations, Estimating, and Risk Management to align all phases of work.
