Job summary

Enterprise Electrical is seeking an Electrical Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale Mission Critical Data Center Projects in Cedar Rapids, IA, and across the country. The role oversees electrical construction, ensuring safety, on-schedule delivery, and budget adherence.

You will manage plans, budgets, and schedules; lead cross-functional teams and client communications; and mentor junior staff in electrical practices, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of electrical project management experience, preferably in mission critical environments.
• Proven track record managing large-scale electrical projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical design, installation practices, and NEC codes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience with project management software (Procore, Microsoft Project).
• PMP or equivalent certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate activities throughout the lifecycle of the project, ensuring quality control and cost-effective management.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets while complying with regulations and standards.
• Lead project status meetings, monitor schedules, progress reports, and change orders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams for alignment of goals.
• Identify and manage risks and issues impacting project performance and provide resolutions.
• Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and services, and establish contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, promoting a safety culture through training and communication.
• Manage project close-out, including final invoices and closeout documentation.
