Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Chicago to deliver high-quality construction outcomes for electrical utility projects. You will manage projects from proposal development through execution, coordinating with internal and external partners to ensure proper scoping, cost control, and scheduling.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management and 3+ years in project management within the electrical utility sector, with substation or transmission

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field.
• 3+ years of experience in Project Management.
• Experience from an electrical utility contractor.
• Experience with substation or transmission.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from proposal development through execution, ensuring proper scope, sound technical basis, and alignment with schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external engineering partners.
• Oversee equipment sourcing and procurement activities and support construction planning.
• Review EPC proposals and perform project due diligence.
• Partner with Operations, Estimating, and Risk Management to align all phases of work.
