Job summary

JLL is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex data-center infrastructure projects. You will direct PMs, APMs, and coordinators and own cost, schedule, scope, and client outcomes for high-profile engagements.

The role requires managing GMP/NTE contracts, coordinating electrical, mechanical, and controls trades, and maintaining rigorous Reporting to demanding clients. Travel up to 100% may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
• 7+ years of construction project management experience in data center, industrial, or other mission-critical environments, with ownership of full delivery.
• Proven track record delivering projects at scale: $50M+ total project cost, high schedule intensity, and technically complex MEP scopes.
• Direct oversight of trade contractors (electrical, mechanical, generator, controls, structural).
• Proven commercial and contract leadership, including RFP development, negotiation, and GMP/NTE administration on large scopes.
• Advanced proficiency with project management, scheduling, and financial management software.
• Deep knowledge of MEP systems, critical power/cooling infrastructure, and commissioning standards (NFPA, ASHRAE).
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive-level reporting
• Autonomy and decisive judgment in high-pressure environments with fast-track delivery.
• Availability to travel up to 100% for projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project delivery on the program's complex and high-value engagements, owning performance across cost, schedule, scope, weekly OAC meetings, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Provide guidance to PMs, APMs and Project Coordinators, maintaining delivery standards, documentation integrity, and workstream alignment.
• Lead pre-design and feasibility efforts alongside engineering, including due diligence, constructability review, capacity validation, and ROM estimates with high confidence.
• Drive parallelized delivery methodology for speed-to-market, adapting pre-planning sequencing for large-scale projects.
• Develop and review Method of Procedures (MOPs) for critical infrastructure, with status reports and documentation.
• Execute procurement and commercial execution, including RFP development, vendor qualification, negotiation, and direct contracting under NTE/GMP.
• Coordinate prime and trade contracts across electrical, mechanical, controls, fire protection, structural and general trades.
• Manage GMP/NTE budgets, ROM development, change orders, forecasts, pay applications, and variance analysis.
• Serve as primary day-to-day client interface and deliver rigorous data-driven reporting.
• Identify, document, and escalate risk on high-exposure projects and escalate high-stakes issues appropriately.
• Ensure QA and commissioning of critical systems in energized environments.
• Conduct field assessments, onsite electrical evaluations, testing and commissioning; supervise maintenance and contractor work.
• Collaborate on design plans using CAD and ensure compliance with codes and standards; provide expertise in building systems.
• Enforce site safety protocols and lead safety stand-downs; drive corrective actions when incidents occur.
• Support contract administration, compliance, insurance documentation, and governance.
