Job summary

CoreSite in Los Angeles seeks an Operations Construction Project Manager to lead end-to-end capital and operational construction in active data centers. You will drive scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality while coordinating with Operations, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Procurement.

Travel will be 50% across CoreSite markets; you will manage complex MEP and infrastructure upgrades, ensure minimal disruption to customers, and deliver projects from business case through closeout with a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of five years of commercial construction project management experience with increasing responsibility and complexity.
• Experience managing construction in operating, mission critical facilities is required; data center experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience managing both MEP and CSA scopes, including critical equipment replacements and infrastructure upgrades, is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with project budgets, schedules, procurement, contracting, change management, commissioning, and closeout is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end construction projects in active data centers with a focus on safety and minimal disruption.
• Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Design & Construction, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Sales, and other stakeholders to define requirements and develop business cases.
• Develop and manage execution plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and escalation paths for projects.
• Ensure plans meet CoreSite standards and live-site requirements, coordinating permitting and inspections as needed.
• Oversee vendor coordination, commissioning, and turnover, including documentation and closeout activities.
