Job summary

Meta seeks an experienced Transportation Operations Manager to drive logistics efficiency across large-scale data center sites. You will mentor teams, roll out tools, and coordinate complex programs while supporting 7-day coverage on a 5-day work schedule.

You will engage with internal customers, optimize routes, negotiate carrier rates, and lead KPI-driven improvements across North America, including international shipments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or related field required.
• 7+ years of experience in warehouse, 3PL, transportation, or supply chain operations.
• Experience operating in a matrixed organization and leading large-scale operations.
• Proven track record of establishing standards, metrics, and SOPs across teams.
• Hands-on experience with logistics systems (WMS/TMS) and carrier management.
• Willingness to travel ~25% across North America for on-site management.

Responsibilities

• Must be available to work an 8-hour shift within a 12-hour window (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) with occasional weekend coverage.
• Engage with internal customers to shape the team's customer-facing vision and roadmap.
• Manage movement of goods, supplies, and equipment, planning routes and schedules for timely delivery.
• Negotiate carrier rates and benchmark against peers to reduce costs.
• Develop and maintain carrier relationships ensuring high-quality service and compliance.
• Conduct regular carrier performance reviews on service quality and on-time performance.
• Develop and negotiate carrier contracts to secure favorable terms and rates.
• Track KPIs (on-time delivery, transit times, cost reporting) and analyze data for improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics with organizational goals.
• Manage international shipments with import/export compliance.
