Job summary

Meta seeks an experienced transportation manager to build partnerships across internal teams, scale the organization, and roll out tooling for efficient logistics in a fast-growing environment. You will mentor processes, govern complex programs, and support data center equipment logistics across North America with 7-day coverage on a 5-day schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in warehouse management, 3PL management, transportation management, supply chain, inventory management, operations, or manufacturing.
• 7+ years of experience operating in a matrixed organization, independently identifying, managing, and solving complex, ambiguous problems.
• Proven track record of independently leading warehouse and transportation operations and 3PL providers at scale, and driving operational quality and compliance in a large-scale distribution environment.
• Hands-on experience with logistics management systems (WMS/TMS) and transportation logistics services.
• Experience in performance analysis, detailed reporting, and cost management and budget adherence.

Responsibilities

• Engage with internal customers to understand needs and shape the team's customer-facing vision and roadmap.
• Manage and coordinate movement of goods, supplies, and equipment within facilities with efficient routes and schedules.
• Negotiate carrier and transportation rates and benchmark against peers to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and maintain carrier relationships to ensure high-quality service and compliance.
• Conduct carrier performance reviews on-time delivery, service quality, and claims.
