Job summary

Meta seeks an experienced transportation manager to lead logistics operations across large-scale data center sites. You will mentor teams, roll out tools, and coordinate execution to ensure efficient, compliant movement of goods.

The role covers domestic and international shipments with 25% travel and 7-day coverage on a 5-day schedule. Responsibilities include negotiating rates, managing 3PLs, tracking KPIs, and partnering with internal customers to shape roadmaps and drive continuous

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years in warehouse management, 3PL management, transportation management, supply chain, inventory management, operations, or manufacturing.
• 7+ years operating in a matrixed organization, solving complex problems.
• Proven track record leading warehouse and transportation operations at scale, with compliance.
• Experience setting operational standards, metrics, and SOPs across teams.
• Hands-on experience with logistics management systems (WMS/TMS).
• Willingness to travel ~25% to NA locations for on-site management.

Responsibilities

• Work an 8-hour shift within 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM with occasional weekend coverage.
• Engage internal customers to understand needs and shape the team's roadmap.
• Manage movement of goods and schedule transportation routes for timely delivery.
• Negotiate carrier rates and benchmark against industry peers.
• Develop and maintain carrier relationships and ensure compliant service.
• Conduct regular carrier performance reviews and manage claims.
• Develop and negotiate carrier contracts for favorable terms.
• Track KPIs and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics with goals.
• Manage international shipments with import/export compliance.
