Job summary

Bold New Solutions - BNS Power is seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Technician II with data center experience to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting across data centers and client environments. You will lead hardware deployments, perform upgrades, manage cabling, and coordinate with vendors while mentoring junior technicians.

The role requires travel up to 75% and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of IT infrastructure or data center experience.
• Experience with installation, cabling, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent time management and prioritization.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams.
• Ability to meet physical demands.
• Valid passport.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation of data cabinets, racks, and cable systems.
• Install and validate copper, fiber, and console cabling.
• Rack, stack, and cable PDUs, servers, and network gear.
• Configure console access and interpret design documents.
• Perform hardware upgrades and troubleshoot issues with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain inventory and documentation, including RMAs.
• Mentor Technician I staff and promote safety standards.
• Support on-site project execution and status updates to stakeholders.
