Job summary

Arcadis in the United States seeks a Senior Fire Protection Engineer with a strong background in data center and industrial environments to lead fire protection design across multiple concurrent projects. You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and architectural teams, develop construction-ready packages, provide technical leadership, and support business development, with periodic travel.

The role requires a PE license, a bachelor's in fire protection or related field, and experience

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

Lead fire protection design for data center and mission-critical facilities with high availability requirements.
Develop construction-ready design packages including drawings, specifications, and BIM models.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
Collaborate with MEP teams to integrate fire protection within complex environments.
Support proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and client engagement.
Perform site assessments and fire protection studies for data centers.
