Job summary

Aligned Data Centers, LLC seeks a Chief Engineer to provide senior technical leadership and operations oversight for mission‑critical facilities. You will oversee electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety, and BMS systems, ensuring procedural integrity and risk mitigation while coordinating with Facility and Maintenance Managers.

The role emphasizes change management, vendor coordination, and project execution in high-availability environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data center operations or critical facilities management.
• Strong leadership and training delivery experience.
• Knowledge of SOPs, EOPs, compliance auditing, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical oversight for critical facility systems (electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety, and BMS).
• Review Change Requests for safety and risk mitigation before approval.
• Ensure SOPs/MOPs/EOPs are followed and documented.
• Lead RCA investigations and coordinate cross-shift maintenance activities.
• Support site-wide training, drills, and readiness planning.
