Job summary

Aligned Data Centers is seeking a Chief Engineer to provide senior technical leadership for its mission-critical facility. You will serve as the primary technical authority on site, bridging shift operations with site leadership and ensuring procedural integrity throughout electrical, mechanical, fire/safety, and BMS systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data center operations or critical facilities (multi-site).
• Experience delivering onboarding or technical training programs within infrastructure environments.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and change-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical oversight for all critical facility systems (electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety, and BMS).
• Lead RCA investigations and risk mitigation efforts.
• Coordinate maintenance, vendor work, and project turnover across shifts.
• Develop and deliver training programs and maintain CMMS documentation.
