Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Technical Sr. Manager to lead a team responsible for mechanical operations, maintenance, energy management, and workforce development across facilities. The role focuses on supervision, budgeting, and coordinating with contractors and tenants.

You will oversee all building systems, drive improvements to preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and compliance while aligning with CBRE RISE values. A strong leadership background and tech-savvy approach are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
• Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated information and convey performance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees and oversee training and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, set schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
• Manage operations and maintenance for assigned facilities and develop operating budgets.
• Improve preventive maintenance programs and maintain building-specific maintenance and safety manuals.
• Serve as the point of contact for maintenance with contractors and tenants.
• Oversee all building systems including fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical issues.
• Maintain communication with tenants, clients, owners, and vendors.
• Drive acquisition of new management contracts and develop as-built drawings.
• Respond to emergencies and advise on resolutions.
• Apply broad knowledge to achieve team objectives and drive improvements.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values.
