Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Technical Senior Manager to lead a team responsible for mechanical operations, maintenance and energy management across facilities. You will supervise staff, coordinate daily activities, and manage budgets while engaging with tenants and contractors to ensure high-quality building performance.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on oversight of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems, with CBRE’s RISE values guiding decisions and actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
• Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated information and convey performance expectations.
• Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products and advanced organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training, conduct evaluations and coaching.
• Coordinate and manage daily team activities, establish schedules and assign tasks.
• Manage operations and maintenance for assigned facilities and develop budgets.
• Recommend and implement improvements for preventive maintenance programs and safety manuals.
• Act as point of contact for maintenance with contractors and tenants.
• Oversee building systems including fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC and electrical issues.
• Communicate with tenants, clients, owners, facilities team and vendors.
• Drive acquisition of new management contracts and develop as-built drawings.
• Respond to emergencies and align actions with CBRE policies.
