Job summary

CoreWeave is hiring a Senior Data Center Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design and delivery for our data center facilities. You will review consultant work, ensure performance, efficiency, and scalability, and contribute to design concepts across multiple sites.

The role requires 7+ years in data center engineering, strong knowledge of electrical systems, and the ability to coordinate with IT/operations and third-party teams. Travel to sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 7+ years of data center engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of data center electrical systems (Substations, Emergency Generators, UPS, Lithium-Ion Battery Plants, Fire Alarm).
• Familiarity with EPMS and/or SCADA systems; ability to develop controls sequences and monitoring protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design tasks for data center facilities (build-to-suit, self-performed, tenant fit-out).
• Develop scalable electrical design solutions for hyperscale sites.
• Review consultant work and ensure compliance with Basis of Design and company standards.
• Coordinate with IT/operations, vendors, and internal teams to ensure cohesive designs.
• Perform calculations (short-circuit, coordination, arc-flash, load flow) to validate performance and safety.
• Participate in site due diligence, testing, commissioning, and budget/schedule input.
