Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Data Center Electrical Engineer to lead electrical infrastructure design for new data center facilities. You will guide technical design, review consultant work, and ensure performance, efficiency, and scalability of electrical systems.

Travel to various data center sites is required. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in data center engineering, strong knowledge of substations, generators, UPS, Li-ion battery plants, and fire alarm systems, plus experience with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineering license preferred but not mandatory.
• 7+ years of experience in data center engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of data center electrical systems (Substations, Generators, UPS, Li-ion battery plants, Fire alarm).
• Familiarity with EPMS/SCADA systems and controls sequences.

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical engineering design tasks for new data center facilities and fit-out projects.
• Develop electrical design solutions to enhance deployment speed, scalability, and repeatability.
• Review consultant work and ensure compliance with Basis of Design and standards.
• Coordinate with IT, operations, and other teams to ensure cohesive designs.
• Perform calculations (short-circuit, load flow, arc-flash) for safety and performance.
• Support site due diligence, power constraints evaluation, and commissioning activities.
