Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Data Center Electrical Engineer to lead design efforts for hyperscale data centers. You will drive electrical infrastructure development, review consultant outputs, and ensure performance, efficiency and safety across projects.

Travel to sites on occasion and collaborate with IT, operations, and project management teams to deliver reliable, scalable energy solutions. A PE license is preferred, with extensive data center experience welcomed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; PE license preferred.
• 7+ years in data center engineering or similar.
• Proven track record delivering data center design projects.
• Knowledge of data center electrical systems (Substations, Generators, UPS, Li-ion plants, Fire Alarm).

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for new data center facilities.
• Review consultant work and ensure compliance with Basis of Design.
• Develop designs to improve deployment speed, scalability and repeatability.
• Coordinate with IT/Operations, vendors, and project teams for cohesive designs.
• Perform electrical calculations (short-circuit, coordination, arc-flash, load flow).
• Support site due diligence, commissioning, and testing activities.
