Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Data Center Electrical Engineer to lead electrical infrastructure design for hyperscale data center facilities. You will review consultant work and ensure performance, efficiency, and safety across projects.

Travel to data center sites is required. You will collaborate with IT, operations, and project teams, perform technical studies, and ensure compliance with company standards and industry codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; PE license preferred.
• 7+ years of data center engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of data center electrical systems (subs, generators, UPS, battery plants, fire alarm).
• Familiar with EPMS and SCADA systems; able to develop control sequences.
• Experience with large-scale, high-density data centers and cloud infra.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Certs (Uptime Institute, BICSI) a plus; no sponsorship needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design tasks for new data center facilities (build-to-suit, self-performed, fit-out).
• Develop design solutions to improve deployment speed, scalability, and repeatability.
• Review consultant work and ensure compliance with Basis of Design and standards.
• Coordinate with IT, operations, mechanical, and project teams for cohesive designs.
• Perform short-circuit, coordination, arc-flash, load-flow studies to validate systems.
• participate in site due diligence and factory witness testing; support commissioning.
• Provide input on budgets, schedules, and resource planning.
