Job summary

QTS is seeking a Senior Development Project Manager (Data Center Construction OFCI) to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities on designated projects. The role requires coordinating with facilities, contractors, designers, engineers, commissioning agents, vendors and data center operations staff to drive on-time, on-budget project delivery.

The candidate will create and manage development programs, entitlement and permitting, and collaborate with procurement teams for equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, preconstruction and construction activities for data center projects.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and status reports for multiple projects.
• Coordinate with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, Vendors and Data Center Operations staff.
• Develop master development programs for sites and ensure timely project delivery.
• Review and approve submittals and change orders, and manage procurement processes.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering

MBA, Masters in Engineering, Management, or related field
