Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Development Project Manager (Data Center Construction OFCI) to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities across campus projects. You will interact daily with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, and Operations staff to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.

The role requires a BS in Science or Engineering with 5+ years of commercial construction experience; travel is required. MBA is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures, including Lump Sum, CM@R, and Design Build.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite; especially PowerPoint, and Excel for budgets and updates.
Able to travel as needed for the business.

Responsibilities

Lead design, preconstruction and construction activities on assigned projects.
Maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports for each campus.
Develop master development programs and capital budgets with stakeholders.
Manage entitlement and permitting needs for each site project(s).
Coordinate with procurement, vendors, and operations to ensure on-time delivery.
Represent QTS in OAC meetings and maintain stakeholder relationships.
