Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Senior Development Project Manager (Data Center Construction OFCI) to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities across projects. You will coordinate with facilities, contractors, designers, engineers and operations daily, ensuring clear communication and consistent progress.

You will manage budgets, schedules and master development programs, while guiding entitlement, procurement and cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five+ years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel for executive updates and budgets.
• Be able to travel as needed for the business.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple campus projects with updated budgets and schedules.
• Provide monthly executive updates on development program and project status.
• Coordinate master development programs for sites and capital budgets.
• Handle entitlement and permitting needs for assigned sites.
• Develop and update campus master plans to reflect timelines and budgets.
• Write scopes of work for design, construction, and commissioning services.
• Evaluate pricing proposals for design, construction and commissioning.
• Collaborate with procurement on equipment procurement and delivery processes.
• Coordinate submittals with site stakeholders and monitor cost-to-date against budget.
• Establish schedules and lead teams to on-time completion.
• Review monthly pay applications and change orders from contractors.
