Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Development to lead data center projects across North America, from site identification and acquisition through design, entitlement and construction readiness.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of data center delivery experience, a relevant degree, and strong financial and risk management skills. You will lead client relationships, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and guide executive stakeholders to project success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years’ project management experience with data center development.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate Development, Architecture, Project Management or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience leading projects from land acquisition through handover to construction or delivery teams.
• Strong financial, commercial and risk management capabilities.
• Proficient – expert experience with MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center development projects from site screening/acquisition through development and readiness for construction.
• Manage development schedules, budgets, risks, and key milestones.
• Oversee feasibility studies, site evaluations, due diligence, and technical assessments.
• Coordinate with local authorities on zoning/entitlements and utility planning.
• Provide governance, reporting, and executive-level presentations.
• Support business development and expand services within client accounts.
