Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Development to lead front-end lifecycle activities for large-scale data center projects in North America. The role focuses on site identification, land acquisition, entitlement, utility coordination, and due diligence through construction, delivering value for developers, hyperscale operators, and investors.

Qualifications

8+ years of project management experience in data center development.
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate Development, Architecture, Project Management or equivalent.
Experience leading projects from land acquisition through handover to construction or delivery teams.
Strong financial, commercial and risk management capabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead data center projects from site screening and acquisition through development and readiness for construction execution.
Manage development schedules, budgets, risks, and key project milestones.
Coordinate with local authorities, developers, investors, and clients to align objectives.
Provide strategic guidance and develop mitigation plans for project risks.
Support business development and identify opportunities for expanded service delivery within client accounts.
