Job summary

Quality Technology Services, LLC (QTS) in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking a Senior Development Project Engineer (Data Center Construction MEPR) to assist with design, preconstruction and construction activities on multiple campus projects. You will interact with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, and Operations staff to deliver on program goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• Five+ years of professional experience in commercial construction methods and project delivery.
• Experience with MS Office (PowerPoint for updates, Excel for budgets).
• US Citizenship is required by law for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist Development leadership and Project Manager with day-to-day activities.
• Maintain budgets, schedules, and status reports for multiple projects.
• Prepare monthly development program updates for executive reviews.
• Collaborate with design and construction teams on master development and budgets.
• Assist with entitlement and permitting needs for sites.
• Contribute to procurement, cost estimates, and change order evaluation.
• Coordinate with procurement for equipment procurement and delivery.
• Ensure submittals are coordinated with stakeholders and monitor cost-to-date.
• Represent QTS in meetings and build stakeholder relationships.
