Job summary

Quality Technology Services, LLC (QTS) is seeking a Development Project Engineer (Data Center Construction) to support design, preconstruction and construction activities across campus projects. You will interact with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, and Operations teams and contribute to project budgets and schedules.

The role emphasizes collaboration, cost control and adherence to milestones in fast-paced data center environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management field or equivalent professional experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint for executive updates, and Excel for budgets
• One or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures, including management of Lump Sum, CM-at-Risk and Design Build delivery

Responsibilities

• Assist Development leadership and Project Manager with day to day activities and responsibilities
• Maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports for multiple projects
• Prepare monthly executive level reviews on development program status
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop master development program and capex budgets
• Coordinate entitlement and permitting needs for assigned site projects
• Support procurement, cost estimates and change order review
• Engage with internal teams and external partners to ensure on-time project completion
