QTS Data Centers in Cedar Rapids, IA seeks a Development Program Manager (Data Center Construction MEPR) to lead design, pre-construction, and construction activities for assigned projects.

The role requires coordinating with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, and Operations staff to meet schedule, cost, and quality targets. Travel up to 50% is expected and MBA is a plus for advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Eight or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures, including Lump Sum, CM at Risk, and Design Build.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint for executive updates, and Excel for budgets.
• Be able to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage design, pre-construction, and construction activities on a given project.
• Interact daily with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, and Operations staff.
• Create master development program and campus design solution with capital budget.
• Manage entitlement and permitting needs for assigned site projects.
• Develop and update site master plans and budgets for timely completion.
• Write scopes of work for design/construction and participate in procurement.
