Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Development Sr. Project Manager to lead design, pre-construction and construction activities for MEPR projects. You will coordinate with facilities, contractors, designers, engineers, and vendors to ensure on-time delivery and compliant budgets.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in science or engineering and at least five years in commercial construction, with strong MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel skills. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures.
• Experience with budgets and presenting program updates to executives using PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, pre-construction and construction activities on a given project.
• Maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports for each campus.
• Create monthly executive updates and present information to support decisions.
• Collaborate with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, Vendors and Operations staff.
• Manage entitlement, permitting and site master plans for assigned sites.
