Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Project Manager with data center design experience to join our Industrial Facilities Design team. This role leads planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale facilities for global leaders, coordinating multidisciplinary teams from concept to startup.

You will manage complex stakeholder expectations, budgets, and schedules while ensuring high-quality outcomes. The position offers growth, ownership opportunities, and a collaborative, employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 4+ years of directly applicable experience in lieu of technical degree.
• At least 5 years of experience managing projects in Engineering and Construction.
• Proven experience managing the design or construction of data center projects.
• Knowledge of contract management, pre-construction, renovations, demolition, new construction building systems/components and technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline projects across all phases, ensuring effective team development and performance.
• Manage client relationships and serve as the primary contact for project delivery.
• Define project scope, develop work plans, allocate resources, and align capabilities with needs.
• Execute projects within approved budget, funding, and schedule per the Project Execution Plan.
• Oversee technical, cost, and schedule performance ensuring quality and contractual compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and communicate issues to leadership.
• Coordinate meetings and maintain thorough documentation across stakeholders.
• Travel as required to project locations for coordination and client engagement.
