Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Project Manager with data center design experience to join our Industrial Facilities Design group. The role will lead planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale facilities across multiple US locations, coordinating architecture and engineering teams for high-tech, mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities include managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, and client expectations while driving innovation and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across design and construction phases.
• Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
• Experience managing data center or industrial facility design projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline projects across all phases, ensuring effective team development and performance.
• Manage client relationships to exceed expectations and serve as primary contact for project delivery.
• Define project scope, develop work plans, allocate resources, and align team capabilities with project needs.
• Execute projects within approved budget, funding, and schedule according to procedures.
• Oversee technical, cost, and schedule performance ensuring quality and contractual compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate change management with clients on scope and timing for variations.
• Coordinate meetings, maintain documentation, and ensure stakeholder communication.
• Approve and issue project documents, monitor progress, and generate client reports.
• Manage invoicing, review financials, and support cash flow with accounting support.
• Manage contracts for external consultants and services with procurement support.
• Mentor project managers and support audits and corrective actions.
• Assist in developing marketing presentations and pursue new business opportunities.
