Job summary

Keel Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Center Controls to lead standards for EPMS and BMS across data centers, partnering with electrical and mechanical teams to drive automation and reliable operation.

The role includes defining design standards, coordinating with commissioning, and improving incident response while advancing cybersecurity and AI-ready controls across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive controls or instrumentation engineering experience, with a focus on mission-critical or data center facilities.
• Demonstrated experience leading EPMS/BMS design on hyperscale, colocation, or enterprise data center projects.
• Experience as a technical owner or discipline lead on large capital projects.
• Prior experience mentoring engineering staff and external systems integrators.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the company's EPMS and BMS design standards, basis-of-design docs, points lists, and technical specifications.
• Lead standards for controls network architecture, OT cybersecurity, and integration pathways with IT.
• Oversee controls project execution from feasibility to commissioning and energization.
• Manage EPMS/BMS vendor selection, system integration, and design package approvals.
