Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Controls Manager to lead a skilled team responsible for building management systems and electrical power monitoring in data centers.

You will oversee deployment, troubleshooting, and commissioning of complex controls, while coordinating with multiple internal teams and vendors. The role requires extensive travel (50–75%), strong leadership, and a background in electrical/mechanical controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of controls experience, or 14+ years of relevant controls experience in lieu of a degree.
• 10+ years of experience directly managing, mentoring, leading, and coaching teams of controls professionals.
• Experience managing deployment of complex electrical and mechanical controls systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment and service of BMS/EPMS in Amazon data centers.
• Hire, develop, and manage a high-performing technical team.
• Coordinate internal and external project work to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Travel 50% to 75% to construction sites across US-West territory.
