Job summary

McKinstry is expanding its Data Center Innovations division and is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join the Spokane, WA team. You will handle higher-complexity sales, nurture client relationships, and manage larger contracts, coordinating with leadership to ensure successful project execution.

You will lead business development, develop market strategies, and mentor account executives while collaborating with operations and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management or equivalent business experience required.
• Seven (7) years of experience with a mechanical or electrical construction contractor required.
• Five (5) years of experience leading and closing sales required.
• Knowledge of conceptual estimating.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, proposals and estimates required.

Responsibilities

• Business Development: manage a percentage of annual sales, build proposals, and create market strategies.
• Team Management: assist with hiring, coaching and performance feedback.
• Client Relations: maintain relationships with industry leaders and manage client projects and accounts.
