Job summary

McKinstry in Pasco, WA is seeking a Senior Account Executive - Electrical Data Center Construction to lead high-complexity sales and client relationships. You’ll manage major projects, develop proposals, and coordinate with the Business Development team to win contracts.

The role requires extensive experience in mechanical/electrical construction, strong communication skills, and the ability to read plans and estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management or equivalent business experience required.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio; SharePoint preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, proposals and estimates required.
• Knowledge of building infrastructure mechanical and electrical systems required.
• Seven years of experience with a mechanical or electrical construction contractor required.
• Five years of experience leading and closing sales required.
• Knowledge of conceptual estimating required.

Responsibilities

• Manages a percentage of annual sales based on department needs.
• Produces accurate estimates, assembles proposals and uses McKinstry formats.
• Builds and owns market strategies with SWOT and competitive analysis.
• Coordinates with Business Unit Manager to ensure project execution.
