Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Data Center Construction in Dallas, TX. You will lead high-complexity data center projects, supervise multiple Project Managers, and ensure client satisfaction while driving revenue and project controls.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years of PM/engineering/construction experience, including large data center work, with strong construction management and financial acumen. This role is based in Dallas and requires collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or comparable degree.
• 8–10 years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction, including GC experience.
• Experience on large data center projects is required.
• Strong knowledge of construction management, commercial building processes, and estimating skills.
• Experience with construction financial programs/software and labor relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation to closeout with plans, schedules, and scopes of work.
• Oversee resource allocation, scheduling, and coordination for project completion.
• Serve as primary client and stakeholder contact, documenting key decisions.
• Manage procurement, safety, risk, and financial reporting for all phases.
• Recruit, coach, and mentor project team members; forecast staffing.
