Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Construction Manager for a data center project in Spartanburg, SC. You will lead pre-construction and construction activities, ensuring schedule and quality targets are met while guiding contractors and vendors.

The role demands extensive data center experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with BIM, lean principles, and scheduling tools. A BS in engineering or construction management is required.

Qualifications

• At least 12 years of experience on large building or civil projects.
• Experience leading a Data Center project team and managing subcontractors/vendors.
• Knowledgeable of NFPA70E and construction scheduling (critical path).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction and construction processes, review contractor performance for schedule and quality.
• Monitor contractor work and provide guidance on US construction practices.
• Lead daily/weekly contractor meetings to drive safety, schedule, cost control, and change management.
