Jacobs is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead the pre-construction and construction for a data center project in Spartanburg, SC. The role oversees schedule, safety, and contractor performance, with a focus on delivering complex data center facilities.

We require a strong background in data centers, scheduling, BIM/Lean, and a proven ability to lead large field teams, manage subcontractors and vendors, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience on large building or civil projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction and construction activities for data center projects.
• Review contractor performance and schedule/quality commitments.
• Develop and implement construction schedules.
• Lead daily/weekly contractor meetings and safety reviews.
• Audit quantities and support invoicing reviews.
• Coordinate with Owners and Jacobs management for progress reporting.
