Jacobs is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead a $10M+ data center project in Spartanburg, SC. You will drive pre-construction and field activities, ensure safety, schedule adherence, and quality across contractors and vendors, reporting to Jacobs Management.

You bring 12+ years of large-project experience, a construction-focused degree, and expertise in data center systems, NFPA70E, and BIM. On-site role with competitive compensation and benefits.

Competenze

• At least 12 years of experience on large building or civil projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or equivalent.
• Experience leading a Data Center project team and managing subcontractor and vendors.
• Project experience relating to Data Centers or upfits.
• Knowledge of 120VAC electrical tie-ins, instrumentation, controls wiring, fiber terminations, network cabling, serial communications, panel wiring and modifications.
• Knowledgeable of NFPA70E.
• Strong scheduling (critical path) and commissioning planning.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, scheduling and project management programs.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scope of work and project schedules.
• Ability to implement BIM, Lean and other leading-edge technologies.
• OSHA 30 or willingness to obtain within 60 days.

• Lead Pre-construction and construction process, reviewing contractor performance for schedule and quality.
• Assist in planning work for efficient contractor performance.
• Monitor installed work for sound construction practices and update schedules.
• Audit quantities and aid in invoicing review.
• Lead daily/weekly contractor meetings to drive safety, schedule, change management and cost.
• Develop and review contractor, subcontractor and vendor execution plans.
• Provide detailed reporting to Owners and Jacobs management.
• Support interactive planning (IAP) for schedule sequencing.
