Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead a data center project in Spartanburg, South Carolina. You will guide pre-construction and construction, coordinate with contractors, and ensure safety, schedule and quality across the team.

Requirements include 12+ years on large building or civil projects, a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, and data center experience. Onsite work with competitive pay and benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience on large building or civil projects.
• Experience leading Data Center projects and managing subcontractors/vendors.
• Knowledge of NFPA70E, scheduling and commissioning planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction planning and construction sequences.
• Develop and manage construction schedules and progress reporting.
• Lead daily/weekly contractor meetings to drive safety and cost control.
• Review and approve contractor and vendor execution plans.
• Audit quantities and support invoicing reviews.
