Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Construction Manager for a data center project in Spartanburg, South Carolina. You will lead pre-construction and construction activities, review contractor performance, and ensure safety, schedule, and quality across the team.

You will guide modularization efforts, manage subcontractors, and report to Jacobs Management. The role requires extensive experience with data centers and strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years on large building or civil projects.
• Experience leading a Data Center project team.
• Knowledge of NFPA70E and complex scheduling.
• Proficiency in BIM, Lean methods and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction and construction planning for Data Center projects.
• Review contractor performance for schedule and quality.
• Lead daily/weekly contractor meetings to drive safety and cost control.
• Audit installed quantities and assist in invoicing reviews.
• Coordinate with Owners and Jacobs management on progress.
