Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead a data center project in Spartanburg, SC. You will guide pre-construction, manage field staff, and ensure safety, quality, cost, and schedule performance across a large build.

You will lead the team, coordinate with subcontractors and vendors, implement BIM/Lean methods, and provide detailed progress reporting to Owners and Jacobs management. OSHA 30 or equivalent is expected within 60 days.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience on large building or civil projects.
• Data Center project experience preferred.
• Experience leading a Data Center project team and managing subcontractors/vendors.
• Knowledge of 120VAC electrical power tie-ins, sensors and fiber terminations.
• Knowledgeable of NFPA70E and OSHA 30 or equivalent.
• Strong scheduling, commissioning planning and CPM skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction and construction process, ensure schedule and quality performance.
• Review contractor and vendor execution plans and monitor progress.
• Lead daily and weekly contractor meetings to drive safety, schedule and cost.
• Audit quantities and assist in invoicing review.
• Coordinate with Owner and Jacobs management to update schedules.
