Job summary

Switch is seeking a Senior Data Center Construction Manager to lead large-scale projects from pre-construction through turnover. You will be the on-site leader for GC teams, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery across multiple data center facilities.

The role requires 10+ years in construction management, strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and IT systems, and proven budget/schedule management. On-site presence with potential extended hours is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction management experience.
• Experience delivering large-scale data center or other critical infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and IT systems in mission-critical facilities.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and contractor performance.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Procore.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction execution for large-scale data center projects from pre-construction through completion and turnover.
• Establish a strong safety culture across active job sites.
• Coordinate with Design Engineering, Networking, Controls, Security, Supply Chain, Commissioning, and Operations teams.
• Develop detailed project schedules, milestones, and recovery plans.
• Own project budget performance and change management.
