Job summary

Giga Energy seeks a Construction Manager to lead pre-construction and construction activities for data center infrastructure projects. You will manage budgets, schedules, and contractor coordination from planning through energization, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery of high-quality work.

The role requires travel to project sites, with remote work from home when not on-site. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction and 5+ years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in construction or energy project management; utilities experience preferred.
• Proven ability to manage complex contractor networks and large-scale procurement.
• Strong knowledge of permitting, utility coordination, QA/QC procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project execution plan, including construction sequencing, logistics, temporary facilities, equipment access, laydown, storage, crane operations, and contractor mobilization.
• Support budgets, cost estimates, bid packages, contractor scopes, and schedules.
• Review drawings and proposals for completeness, constructability, and coordination.
• Coordinate input across civil, structural, architectural, fire protection, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, controls, and IT scopes.
• Lead site coordination meetings and communicate priorities, constraints, and corrective actions.
• Maintain the integrated construction schedule and track progress against milestones.
