Job summary

Black Box is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead on-site execution of data center construction projects. You will own safety, schedules, and quality, coordinating large field teams and interfacing with clients to ensure milestones are met on time.

This senior role requires deep expertise in structured cabling, low voltage systems, and compliance with industry standards. On-site leadership, planning, and a focus on craftsmanship are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years supervisory experience on large-scale data center projects.
• Experience managing large field teams (100+), union or nonunion.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Data center new build or retrofit experience preferred.
• Experience with OSHA, BICSI certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own safety as Priority #1 and enforce safety culture on site.
• Direct data center construction operations, plans, site logistics, and progress tracking.
• Ensure technical excellence with low voltage, fiber, and structured cabling standards.
• Lead, mentor and develop large field teams (100+).
• Be the customer’s trusted onsite partner and liaison in meetings and reviews.
